Butte Star Ranch was purchased in February of 2004 by the Handy Family is a proud family owned and operated business.  The ranch rests on 20 acres at the base of the Sutter Buttes in the town of Sutter, which is about 10 miles west of Yuba City, CA.  Butte Star has 2 barns with 56 stalls, 2 outdoor arenas, 1 indoor arena, round pen, and varies paddocks. It is our mission to treat each person and horse with respect and care.  We strive to create a relaxing and safe enviroment for everyone to enjoy.  Boarding does include feed and stall cleaning. We also offer riding lessons, horse training, birthday parties, weddings and  our annual Jr Rodeo every August. Boarding: $250 Stalls/$150 Pasture
(includes two feedings per day and stall cleaning Mon-Sat.)
